Tangshan Leting Puti Island Offshore Wind Farm 300 MW Demonstration Project Offshore Wind Cable Laying Project


The Tangshan Leting Puti Island Offshore Wind Farm 300 MW Demonstration Project is the first offshore wind power project in northern China. The total installed capacity of the wind farm in this project is 300MW, with a total of 75 4MW wind turbine units installed and operating at a depth of 30 meters.
Jiangsu Huaxi Village Marine Engineering Service Co., Ltd. is the general contractor of the 35kV/220kV submarine optoelectronic composite cable laying construction project for the wind farm. 220KV submarine cable laying is an important construction process, with a single cable length of 14.21km, divided into three parts: A, B, and C. At 12:30 on November 25, 2018, the first C-phase submarine cable of the 220KV main cable of the project successfully landed at the offshore booster station. Our project team overcame various difficulties such as complex laying construction environment, long shoal routes, tide waiting operations, and crossing breeding areas, and completed the laying of the C-phase submarine cable. The successful completion of this cable marks a new milestone for our company in the wind power industry. In the future, our company will continue to work hard to innovate the new process of submarine cable laying, Provide strong support for promoting new breakthroughs in offshore wind power.
