On June 7, 2023, the "Huaxi 5000" ship group again reported good news, and the construction of single Pile foundation and booster station of Huaneng Cangnan No.2 offshore wind power project contracted by Huaxi Offshore Engineering was successfully completed!

The planned capacity of this project is 300MW, with a total of 36 8.5MW wind turbines arranged. The longest wind turbine foundation pile is 120 meters long and weighs 2350 tons, making it the longest single pile currently under construction in China. Faced with problems such as limited lifting height, complex geology, poor sea conditions and tight schedule pressure during the construction process, the core team of the "Huaxi 5000" Cangnan 2 Project Department led the party members and technical backbones to give full play to the role of vanguard and model, to do a good job in project management, to take root in the front line, to focus on key nodes, and finally successfully completed the construction of 36 single Pile foundation and one booster station with concerted efforts.
