In response to the national offshore wind power construction and development, especially the construction goal of 30GW offshore wind power in Guangdong Province, to overcome the harsh sea conditions of Yangjiang and the surrounding waters, such as high waves, large swells, and sudden climate changes, our company made strategic deployment in advance, innovated construction technology, and adopted Independently researched and developed jacket type pile holding device supporting marine construction ship "Huaxi 5000", reducing supporting auxiliary ships and reducing external influence factors, adopting single hook three-point pile lifting method, and successfully completed the single pile sinking task of the first wind turbine foundation in Yangjiang waters , Demonstrating the comprehensive strength of Huaxi Offshore Engineering's offshore engineering across the deep sea and connecting the world.
Our company is the first large-scale use of large-scale single pile in China invested and constructed by Three Gorges New Energy (pile length 108m, pile weight nearly 1800t, diameter 7.5-9m) and it is also the largest single pile foundation under construction at home and abroad. The construction site of the project is located in the area with high incidence of typhoon in the South China Sea. There is sudden strong convective weather, complex geological and sea conditions, harsh operating environment, narrow construction area of the project, and intensive ship crossing operations, all of which increase the difficulty of project construction.
The "Huaxi 5000" project department finally overcome the natural environment and technical barriers and successfully completed the project, providing a guarantee for the subsequent wind farm construction to improve the efficiency and safety of offshore wind power foundation pile construction.
The construction of the first 5# large-scale single-pile foundation pile sinking for the offshore wind power project in Yangxi Shapa, Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province has achieved a perfect success, which reflects the professionalism of the "Huaxi 5000" construction under complex sea conditions. Practice has proved that Huaxi Offshore is on the sea. On January 16, 2020, "Huaxi 5000" was successfully undocked at the Guangdong Shipyard Wenchong Shipyard. In the short period of only 7 days for docking repairs, the company's maintenance engineers actively coordinated with the joint efforts of all the crew to overcome disadvantages such as tight docking time, heavy tasks, and numerous maintenance projects. Everyone worked overtime to complete the tasks on time. Each maintenance item of the docking repair shall be tracked and accepted throughout the entire process, and the daily maintenance project plan shall be arranged to achieve seamless connection, and each maintenance item shall be completed with quality and quantity to ensure the smooth release of the "Huaxi 5000" ship.
